Tracking your symptoms and health information regularly can feel like a lot, but research shows it leads to better treatment outcomes.

  • You’ll understand your condition and triggers more clearly.
  • You can communicate better with your care team.
  • Your care team is alerted immediately if something needs attention.
  • Treatment adjustments happen faster, no waiting for your next visit.
  • You always stay in control of your own data.

Your Care Provider Sees What Happens Between Visits

Reduced Hospital Utilization

Patients using continuous remote monitoring experience significantly fewer emergency department visits and preventable readmissions compared to episodic care alone.

Noah B, Keller MS, Mosadeghi S, et al. Impact of remote patient monitoring on clinical outcomes: an updated meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials. J Med Internet Res 2018;20(2):e71.

High Patient Satisfaction

Patients consistently report higher satisfaction with care that includes app-based communication, citing greater sense of control, accessibility, and trust in their care team.

Kruse CS, Krowski N, Rodriguez B, Tran L, Vela J, Brooks M. Telehealth and patient satisfaction: a systematic review and narrative analysis. BMJ Open 2017;7(8):e016242.

Improved Self-Management Engagement

Patients using structured health apps demonstrate significantly greater engagement in self-care behaviors — symptom logging, vitals tracking, and lifestyle modification — compared to standard education alone.

Whitehead L, Seaton P. The effectiveness of self-management mobile phone and tablet apps in long-term condition management: a systematic review. J Med Internet Res 2016;18(5):e97.

Continuous Between-Visit Data

Continuous passive data collection captures physiological trends that episodic 15-minute visits systematically miss, enabling earlier clinical intervention.

Steinhubl SR, Muse ED, Topol EJ. The emerging field of mobile health. Sci Transl Med 2015;7(283):283rv3.

Lower Mortality in Select Programs

Remote monitoring with structured clinical alerts enables earlier detection of decompensation events, reducing mortality risk in heart failure populations.

Koehler F, Koehler K, Deckwart O, et al. Efficacy of telemedical interventional management in patients with heart failure (TIM-HF2): a randomised, controlled, parallel-group, unmasked trial. Lancet 2018;392(10152):1047-1057.

Higher medication adherence

App-based reminders, real-time tracking, and clinician feedback loops dramatically improve prescription compliance, a leading driver of poor chronic disease outcomes.

Thakkar J, Kurup R, Laba TL, et al. Mobile telephone text messaging for medication adherence in chronic disease: a meta-analysis. JAMA Intern Med 2016;176(3):340-349.

Fewer Unnecessary In-Person Visits

Asynchronous monitoring and virtual triage allow clinicians to resolve low-acuity concerns remotely, freeing capacity for patients who need hands-on care.

Bashshur RL, Shannon GW, Smith BR, et al. The empirical foundations of telemedicine interventions for chronic disease management. Telemed J E Health 2014;20(9):769-800.
